It was in the middle of January after 6pm on a Sunday night and I told him to leave Charter now! He was a total dick and said he had the right to pound on my door on a Sunday night uninvited and tell me what to do. I called the Sheriff's office to come and get this creep off my property.

I dumped charter yesterday, or at least I dumped their worthless phone and lousy excuse for tv. I went out and bought my own router and tonight I hooked up my antenna. The worst part about this, is, it's a cheap antenna bought from Amazon and I installed it with related hardware for around $50. The picture is crystal clear unlike the blurry picture with charters cheap worthless electronic BS. .charter doesn't give a dam about their customers, nor do they want to know how we feel about their crappy equipment and crummy service. Try talking to someone at one of their stores. Their corporate mentality starts at the top and goes all the way to their sewer. The MORON that installed my recent service "clipped" at least 8 connections from "MY" homes existing coax (installed when the house was built). He wrecked it. He destroyed MY PROPERTY. WTF. And not only that but the installer told me that the equipment wouldn't be as good as the ATT stuff I was replacing. I could go on and on about these IDIOTS but I'll stop. My freaking BP must be in a dangerous area by now anyway. Oh, I'll be looking for a new internet provider in the near future cause CHARTER SUCKS!!!

When spectrum was time warner here in the dfw, tx area I ran into the same problem as many of you with poor internet service at night. January 3rd of 2015 my internet all of a sudden would just die at night and wouldn't come back on till the next morning. They put me through the ringer with this BS. Changed everything inside the house, changed the lines coming into the house, changed everything inside again because their techs are morons, and they even sent brain dead technicians at 1am to keep testing the internet speed. Morons...I ended up switching to their 100mb plan and got free internet for 8 months until my service just miraculously started working again. I found out 3 months before they fixed the problem that they were upgrading their network in my neighborhood and that's what was causing the problems. So instead of telling their customers we are working on upgrading our network, they just kept pretending like something on my end was messed up or someone was stealing all of my bandwidth, lol. Now that they are Spectrum, thank god I have not had any problems with them, but their prices are now insane. I wanted to drop my tv service because i'm paying $120 just for tv. My 200mb internet package doesn't exist anymore and I cant cancel my tv without losing that whole package. It's insane that their price for 100mb internet is now the same price that their 300mb internet used to be. Their tv service is trash. Constantly have to restart the box because it can't see my recordings or the service just keeps freezing.

I worked for BrightHouse and it was a fantastic company to work for, and for the most part it did treat customers fair. We had the ability to help out people on fixed incomes by finding them a better campaign that would lower prices without taking away services (in some cases add services). Then the Rothchilds' of the Cable Companies merged (AKA Bought us out).They do not know how to run a company and they also do not care if one employee is creating a hostile work environment for another employee which is what happened to me, I got so sick of being tormented and harassed I had no choice but to leave the company and I did go through every single proper channel to try and resolve this but nothing was ever done, I was told because I was a man and she was a woman I better watch what I do. People were laid off (not only laid off, whole departments were liquidated), pay was cut along with the commission we were guaranteed. Then the price gouging started, raising customer bills without notification, Sales Teams (who are complete soulless husks) lying to customers about prices, what channels and internet speed they would be receiving. All of a sudden channels that were with a standard package that a lot of people watched were moved to a certain Digital Tier 1 package that cost 12 dollars more, then they would take half of those channels and move them UP to Digital Tier 2 which was another 12 dollars. No more campaigns (promotions) to help the customers with a fair price for their services. Then the employees started being treated like we weren't worth anything, people were being fired for both spending more then 5-6 minutes on a technical support call (Some of their old cable boxes take 6-7 minutes to restage and reboot), but also being written up and/or fired for not spending enough time to help the customer if a reboot/restage/hit does not work and end up rolling a tech truck. They do not know how to run a company and they also do not care if one employee is creating a hostile work environment for another employee which is what happened to me, I got so sick of being tormented and harassed I had no choice but to leave the company and I did go through every single proper channel to try and resolve this but nothing was ever done, I was told because I was a man and she was a woman I better watch what I do.

Even worse if I change anything they will drop the Time Warner internet speed of 200 which I have to 100 and require me to get two more cable boxes for my extra TVs. In short I will; get a slower internet and less channels and no phone but never mind because they will reduce the $60 increase by $20 bucks a month.... for 12 months. They will not allow me to keep what I have because "they don't support the 200 speed." If I want to increase the speed to 300 which they have it will be $180 a month. Are they nuts? This is not service and not customer care. They suck big time. 4LQDP

The NYS Attorney General has an ongoing lawsuit against Spectrum for unobtainable internet speeds that were promised to customers, knowing they could not deliver. The company is also breaking the NYC Franchise Agreement by hiring OUT OF STATE contractors with no background checks, minimum training, no OSHA certification, amongst many other important issues and the general public has no idea. They are allowing random people without background checks into the houses of hundreds of thousands of customers and putting everybody at risk. However, the news and media refuses to cover it! Tried again to enjoy cable TV, even got the premium channels, but the on demand service works only 20 percent of the time. We get error message after error message and a phone that frequently goes dead and the slowest Internet speeds ever (29 BPS) when they lie and say you're getting 100!

WE NEED TO ORGANIZED TO GET A CLASS ACTION SUIT STARTED!

Calling tech support day after day, they send you a stronger signal and it works for a day and then again NOTHING. Goes on forever and ever. Last guy can out and said, maybe there's a staple in one of your wires. Nice one. If it was a hardware or wiring problem it would NEVER work .

I find it very hard too believe that the techs aren't supposed to electronically enter in their notes from calls. He obviously had to schedule a crew to come out and bury the cable in our backyard, he couldn't remember too let them know we didn't need their modem??? We wouldn't keep their crappy modem and if the idiot did leave it behind we would've called them too come and get it. But the tech didn't let Chokter know and now here I am on here venting. How to prevent a customer from paying a bill so you can raise your prices!!

It's simple, by terminating grandfathered accounts.

My service was terminated for non-payment in February. They were unable to bill my stolen Credit Card, which I forgot I set up on autopay with them, until the morning it was due and I got a text to that effect.

When I attempted to set up the replacement card on my phone application, they wouldn't allow access to the app because my account was suspended.

I called the number provided via the app, but billing wouldn't allow me to set up the new credit card because I didn't know "my" account number.

"My" account number, issued by Spectrum was not mine, it was theirs. However, it would be easy for me to supply it, except I that they turn off access to THEIR system where I could have easily seen my account number.

Further, because I opted for saving THEM money by getting only electronic bills, I was unable to provide the Account number on my bill which was masked for "MY safety.

They did accept payment from me, using my credit card, but wouldn't allow me to know how much the bill was, for MY safety. I had to guess at a dollar figure, but then they still wouldn't turn on my service, because I didn't know THEIR account number, and I didn't have MY license number on THEIR system as an alternate ID, and I didn't know THEIR pin they issued to me, which I still don't know, and have no way of finding out what it is, because I don't get a paper bill.

Then they upped my bill, and decreased my services, I had 200Mb down, 20Mb up (which is pitifully slow compared to the 50/50 I had with FiOS and a throwback to about 15 years ago) top 100/10 AND I am now paying $66 per mo. more!!!!

To add insult to injury, when I called, I was in a waiting area at a hospital due to my mother needing emergency surgery, and my daughter was home unable to do her school work online because service was disconnected. I was told my only option was to drive to a Brighthouse office to identify myself and pay my bill. I told them the Technician that installed my service didn't require me to identify myself before he took my check and turned on service. He could meet me at my house and I'd give him a check. They said they can't do that. I said I can't drive 30 minutes, there, and 30 minutes back, with my mother at the hospital, to pay a bill.

They refused.

When I got home that night, I found the original installation order with my account number on it, and asked for a supervisor to complain.

I got service restored and demanded a call from an Executive (because I was told I was already talking to the highest level supervisor).

30 days later, I got another reminder regarding their inability to charge my card the remaining 103, from the 300 I paid the month prior. I called and they said it takes 2 billing cycles for autopay.

I said, what, ok, but why is my bill 103 when I paid 300 and my bill was only $140/mo.

That's when I found out they terminated MY brighthouse grandfather billing, replacing it with THEIR new, lesser, more expensive billing.

But wait, it gets worse, because they had attempted to charge the other card twice and it didn't go through, they required me to go to a center with my license, to pay in person.

Why did they try to charge a card that was stolen and off the account?

In any case, I had to drive to brighthouse, where I identified myself. But then, they would not allow me to pay with the card they charged the $300 to the month prior.

THEY tried to charge the card that was stolen, rather than the replacement card.

The very nice, sympathetic supervisor at the local office apologized and suggested I call from one of the phones on the wall, and ask for a supervisor to see if they could waive the requirement for cash.

I got to a rep, who put me on hold for about 45 minutes, waiting for a supervisor. I asked the local store if she could do anything to get through to a supervisor. She said no. I asked where an ATM was, close to us. There weren't any that she know of.

I drove about 20 minutes, to get $303 in cash. And it required me to also pay the $2.97 service fee 4 x because I was limited to $100 from this ATM.

I have since called 3 times, demanding to speak with an Executive. I have thus far gotten no response.

After several months of getting the golf channel they have moved to a different tier level kind of like switch and bait. Good thing there is no contract because I'm look at switching now. There was no notification given just one day it was gone and when I called they would restore it but it would take about 5 hours so I waited 6 hours and I was still blocked. I called back a second time and was told by a supervisor they move channels sometime to different tiers and there was nothing he could do for me.

I told them that due to a labor strike caused by corporate greed that wants to take away medical and pension benefits from employees and replaced with a so called robust plans that will cost the American workers a lot more money than the so called raise that Charter keeps on stating. Charter would rather have experienced workers walking a line and bring out of town workers to do their jobs. ( these workers probably don't go through background checks or are held to the same standards that an experienced worker does). If Charter/spectrum can do this to their employees, imagine how they feel about their subscribers. I told all my associates to disconnect from spectrum and go to other providers A.S.A.P. , until workers are back to work.

In Overwatch I usually have around 56 MS - 65 MS. Now I have 95-105 MS, with spikes of 160 ms. This causes rubber banding and is a pain in the butt. Sometimes the ping goes all the way up to 750 ms, or even d/c me from the game. Charter haves garbage internet.

I worked for Time Warner Cable and last year Charter "merged" with us. Since then it's been lies and disappointment. Not long after the merger, Charter told the FCC and the world that they would find jobs in their company for us. (Even though we were much, much larger than Charter - a truly piece of shit company). Later on we find out, sure we have jobs, but we have to move 30 days (Temporarily) after we take an offer (and a major pay cut - to do the same job, but with a lot more work) and be permanently moved within 90 days (after accepting said offer). There was no reasoning with them, they don't care about how things operate, they don't care about the customer service, and they don't care who knows it either. It's a real shame too, Time Warner had finally pulled itself together and was definitely getting right...Who allows these mergers? Where the only result is poor service, people out of work, and the only winners...The board members.

By the way, the people they cut...they didn't backfill those positions. So that means that groups that were providing support for certain services...Were not transitioned to other groups. Which means there is no one supporting some services. Truly, truly stupid Charter.

Charter spectrum is the only network provider in my apartment building so we have no other choice but agree to pay 45 bucks every month for our "high-speed" internet. They guaranteed a 60 mb per second download speed but highest I can reach is 20 ish. However, that is not even a problem. The network is super UNSTABLE! I lost count on how many times it went down (at least 100+). It was down almost everyday from 9am to 2am. I had assignments and projects to submit on due date and I had to do that using school computer to make sure the network is good. The network is down right now since 2:30 pm. I am really sick of this company and the service. I am going to cancel this network service once the semester is over. Never in my LIFE will I become a charter customer agin, EVER!

Can't set up just a favorites guide without all of the other channels still showing. I should have read reviews before I decided to change.

So, I call Charter Customer service. I get a young lady with a heavy accent. I tell her my name and the problem, and she then asks to verify my account. OK, I can see this. She then asks my name, I already gave it to her. Then she starts to ask about pixelation and other "quality" issues. I tell her she obviously isn't listening to me, I'm trying to find the St. Louis Cardinals game. At this point I've had enough, and ask to speak to a supervisor who speaks English as a first language. A few moments later, she is still on the line and telling me she is trying to find the SAN FRANCISCO fame for me" WTH!!! Again I demand to speak to a supervisor who speaks English as a first language, and she tells me that she does speak English as a frat language. At this point I'm down to repeating Supervisor, Supervisor... finally get a Supervisor, and to make a long story short, I'm told that the Fox Midwest + channel is 826, which shows in the guide as the "NHRA Drag Racing"channel, and the program description is for a drag racing event. Really? We are supposed to guess that this is where the game is at?!

I am an IT Consultant that works for over 20 clients in Jasper AL. Some of them have charter cable and they are located in different areas all over the city. One of the locations is a Orthopedic clinic that has 7 doctors working all the time. Its a large office. Every day for over a year the cable service drops out for approximately 2 to 5 minutes. It does this 1 to 5 times a day. Over the last few months I have been getting complaints from other customers in this same city for the same reason. What I have noticed lately is that they are all going down at the same time all over the city. When you call Charter they have no record of this happening in the modem history and they don't believe you. I have noticed that the modem never looses sync when this happens so they probably don't have a record of it. But it is happening... And its all over the city of Jasper AL. They are terrible and they answer every service problem with " let me reset your modem" . Pitiful service.

Last year that handed me that bullshirt excuse, and I was informed that my current pricing was changing to a "regular price." Thirty-five MORE dollars later, I accused them of extortion. Well, he stuck to his party-line: "Ma'am, you have been enjoying a discounted rate for two years, now...." He actually said "enjoying." Well, both these loser con artists came in and eliminated the sales positions and regurgitated it into an impossible situation. Work 10 times harder for less than a third of the money... Now, they are buying the other cable companies and ruining those Sales people's lives...

The latest move on their part is to swap out your sleek sweet cable box for some old, prehistoric, dusty cable boxes that barely work! I am absolutely amazed that the stock prices keep going up when all I really hear is complaining from their old and new customers. They have been advertising a "fantastic new guide" for about a year, that freezes, randomly blanks out or knocks out all services completely. The internet is about the only decent thing they have as long as you can tolerate it dropping off 3 times a week. The phone will work (as if) only until you need it when the power goes out, lol.

I feel very sorry for the Time Warner and BrightHouse Employees, these guys and girls have probably been happily making a living working in a healthy environment, but NO longer! Charter Spectrum is going to pull the rug out from under all of you. Its happened to me and is happening to my good friend for the second time. Meanwhile, the two scumbags mentioned above will bonus themselves millions while they destroy the lives of countless people.

It's Friday night, the system randomly shuts off, unavailable internet and cable. They said Sunday is the earliest they can come take a look. I expect to get service for a product that I'm paying for. If it's not working and not my fault, why do I pay? On top of all this, in about a month my current promotion will end, they won't inform me, my bill jumps up $30, I have to call and calmly tell them I'd like to cancel service. They ask if there's anything they could do to keep us as customers, I say yes, you could keep my monthly bill the same as it was as we budget. They "somehow" punch in some code and find a new promotion good for about 6 months. I've been doing this for 5 years as neighbors and friends had mentioned what they pay for the same service! Yearly I have to call to get the promotional rate of 39.99 /month and this year I call and am told not only can I no longer get the promotional rate but my monthly fee is going to increase to 64.99 per month because I don't bundle. How flippin' ridiculous is that. No loyalty to long term customers, a monopoly in the area since no other provider will move in and challenge them. It's not like internet service has changed in the past 5 years, gets faster but I am not the one that is asking for it to get faster. If I didn't need it for work and communicating with family all over the country I would drop in a second. Maybe time to look into AT&T again, they had UVerse in the area at one time but over $70/month when they first came into the area wasn't even a challenge to charter at $29.99 a month at that time.

My complaint is with Spectrum Internet. My landord bundles with Spectrum Business with Cable and Internet. In the past week and half and nobody can log into the Spectrum splash page to get connected to wifi. I called Spectrum about this problem and the idiot customer representative said you can have more than 8 users at one time. Internet continues to go down. Technical support is very good about walking me through the power cycling, as if I haven't tried that. If any of you would like to know how to do it , I'm a pro at it. What a joke! Daily failures over past few months.
Got ahold of an associate that spilled the beans on the issues and said he was aware of major issues with the equipment in Fort Worth hub causing the problems. Wouldn't say much more than that. They still want to waste my time as well as their resources by sending out a tech to "look" for a problem. I use the word "look" loosely. Every tech that has been out has stated they solved the issue. My thoughts are, unless you've switched me over to a reliable provider, you haven't fixed the issue at all. Tech leaves- internet back down within the hour. Call in, they read from Que Card. Rinse and repeat but the checks still get cashed. The alternative in my area is AT&T which I've heard isn't any better. It is disappointing that customer service as well as product delivery guarantees aren't regulated as much as the Givernment regulations to allow only 2 providers per area to monopolize the internet provision market. It is criminal to take money from someone and not provide a stable product in most avenues of business. Is there grounds for a lawsuit? Perhaps a Class Action? I suppose I will just go to sleep since my internet is down again and I have now vented on this page to relieve some stress. I must say, it does feel better than speaking to a representative of Charter/Spectrum only to have to power cycle my equipment only to have them say, yes I guess there IS a problem. What a job that would be to only learn a few lines of technical lingo. "I am going to walk you through a few things sir since you are saying you are having a problem" "unplug your modem then pulling it back in" yes I see there is an issue" what day can I send out a puppet?"

Called customer service and found out installation now scheduled for 5 - 7PM tonight. No One from customer service called to let me know. I spent the whole day waiting for them because they did not have to courtesy to call and let me know when installation was re-scheduled. Off the a VERY bad start with them. EXTREMELY POOR customer service. At least there is no contact as I will not be a customer for long if they are really this screwed up.

Spectrum employee here. It is just getting worse for us too. Our services use to be free under Time Warner but now we have to pay for boxes after the first one, pay for our security system, and our Internet was dowgraded. The security system pisses me off because we had to purchase a package for equipment which will now be useless because I'm not going to pay more they for it. I would have never got it to begin with had I known. Also they are implementing policies that Time Warner long evolved from. Charter is taking us backwards! Its getting more difficult by the dau to take care of customers efficiently. New hires also get less sick time and scheduling is crap now making us work until 9 at night. I absolutely hate this company. They bought out a superior company and introduced outdated inferior policies. My favorite is if you go over FMLA by one day and you do that have the accrued time you owe the company a full months medical insurance and a full months full price of our services. This is completely new as TWC never did this. Overall, CHARTER IS A HORRIBLE JOKE OF A COMPANY.

Also featured picture in picture while browsing channels, making it super easy to see if something was on commercial or not without actually changing the channel.

Went back to charter (had them years ago but dropped) after uverse kept hiking bill up month after month, and nothing changed. Slow as hell cable that has a crappy on demand feature that takes forever to load, has nothing to offer, and constantly locks up. Takes forever to change channels compared to uverse. Crappy picture in picture feature, might as well not even be there. DVR works but such much worse than the uverse box, its like they are years behind in technology.

Today was my first experience with Spectrum, since they acquired TWC. I called them today to explore the "New Spectrum Pricing" which a few months ago, the TWC rep said we should see a $20 reduction on our monthly bill, + not being liable for reoccuring modem fees. After a few pauses to get me the best approved pricing, they came back with $60 monthly increase. This is partly due to them bundling premium channels in the mid tier package, which the entry level package is like HULU or SLING. As soon as they force us to Spectrum pricing HULU & Sling, here we come!

I am not only a customer of Charter but also was a contractor for them. First, let's talk about the employment side. I cannot complain about the pay. It was great and I was often routed in my own town to work. However, you can go do a perfect install from pole to home, both commercial and residential, and if your customer calls within 30 days of the install, regardless for the reason, you as a contractor are automatically back charged $60. This could be any reason, malfunctioning equipment, customer account issues, etc. Things that have nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing to do with the work of the technician. Yet, still because he is a contractor, he gets penalized for the company's inferior service and equipment (which by the way, is the same junk they had me installing 8 years ago and never updated) and barely take time to update the infrastructure that was probably around before I was born. To me, this seems like robbery but I'M sure there's some crap legal loophole they can get away with it. Then there's the politics of it all. I worked in the biggest and toughest area of my coverage area and would always be coming behind the idiotic, lazy, worthless and severely poorly trained in-house technicians and doing the jobs they would refuse. This made them and the local supervisor look foolish, therefore, they would in turn try to make me look bad. That's how they get techs out of their system that they don't like or like I said, make them look foolish (not a difficult task) Now, as a customer I deal with crap service like all the other poor subscribers in their coverage areas. Pixelation on the TV, internet dropping off constantly and the worst customer service in the industry. I wired my home myself, with new wire and still I have these issues. This is a company that cares nothing for its customers or even the employees that do most of their installs. When you have a problem, they send a very poorly trained technician who is not qualified to do installs, let alone assess a problem and fix it. What usually happens is they blame home wiring and instead of fixing it, they set up for me, a contractor, to come and repair it. And nine times out of ten, is not wiring at all. It's their crappy outdated equipment or their out dated, poorly maintained network.

Time warner was much better. About to get direct tv and at&t internet. In just a couple months of taking over the spectrum cable service has made 4-5 weeks of NFL football sundays unwatchable and a couple of the World Series games and that's just the games I've tried watching. Sunday a tall husky African-American Charter employee came over to learn and fix the problem. He looked at my outlet for about two seconds, without testing anything, and told me instantly I need to replace the cable. And that my Internet is fine, "all you need to do is plug it in." And that he would have to totally rip up the wall and the ceiling to install the new cable, taking off paint. I told him I would have to check with the office, after the holiday, to learn if they wanted him to rip up the apartment like that. And if my Internet is fine, plug it in, so I'll at least have that. He got out his cell phone, talked forever with I don't know who on it, and WOULD NOT LEAVE. It became an argument. "You called me. I am here to do a job. I am here to fix a problem." I finally opened my apartment door into the hall, in view of security cameras, and demanded he get out. He didn't. This went on for a long long time, and finally he said he'd be gone for a while, he went out still on his cell phone. He had asked me if I would be staying there when he came back, not saying that I had to stay. He vanished for at least a half hour, I was thinking about leaving, and I let him in again, telling him I've been scammed before and I can feel paranoid about things like this. He said that was all right. He looked around pretty blankly, no idea what to do, and finally said he'd shut off my cable and Internet until I called them and another Charter technician came by.
Saw my great landlord, indeed indeed, at the office on Tuesday. He was stunned that the guy would not leave my apartment, a single woman visited by a strange man who would not leave her home. And that he hates the hell out of Charter, but they're pretty much a monopoly and you can't stop them. Said he'd yell at them.
Yesterday, the kind reliable maintenance people at this building replaced the cable without having to rip up anything, very easy and routine. I still didn't have cable and Internet. One of the guys was flat sick and stunned when I told him the Charter guy had shut off my connection. He said they aren't allowed to shut off anyone's service without telling the office, absolutely not allowed. He, knowing something, unlike the Charter guy, went into the stairwell and turned on my connection again. I got my Internet back, and my cable still did not work at all. It was likely not necessary to replace the cable.
Today, another kind if getting-suspicious maintenance guy was in here, fixing my blinds, and I made him stay as another Charter guy came in, who was not a technician. This guy told me the absolute only problem was that my cable box needs to be replaced. He was charmingly sincerely insincere, that type of attempted authority. He blatantly shamelessly lied to us as he left my apartment. He said *our* maintenance people shut off everybody's connection from Wednesday to Thursday. That did not happen. It was almost like he was being deliberately intimidating. I went back to the office to talk about all this vicious incomprehensibleness with the lady manager, and boy did we have plenty to talk about. Charter called back to set up another visit in my apartment, I let the lady manager talk to the stunningly polite well-trained well-spoken customer service lady about all this. It was about a ten-minute call, with my girl letting Charter know that they are getting her "pissed" and that they have no right to take away service with telling them, and about all their ignorant incompetence. The customer service lady told her, "it's not right, but it's within protocol." My girl had let met know that I could get another cable box from a couple Charter outlets within the city, very easy, gives them no trouble, I could install it myself by sticking three cables in it. The customer service lady instantly told us that the problem, ain't this breathtaking, is not the cable box, but the wiring!!
So they'll come over at 2:30 tomorrow. I won't be here, but maintenance folks will be in my apartment, seeing that I'm not robbed or bugged or whatever. We'll see how many more visits this takes, and when I get my cable back.
My girl, our lady manager, said that if I talked to the police about this, if anything else at all suspicious happens, "I wouldn't stop you."
Charter is not necessarily doing what they are doing so they can get massive profits. That is never anyone's only motivation. There is also the human instinct to hurt other people, for fun.

We have someone from charter here about every other week for one problem or another. They rig it enough to last about a week then back to crappy signals. Have switched receivers several times with no lasting resolution. For the money they are being paid they need to invest in new equipment and stop rotating crappy defective equipment. We are unable to switch to satellite as we are in an apartment for 5 more months. I've had Directv in the past and never lost signals during rain, ice or snow. Lose it with charter on sunny ass days.

I was supposed to be put on a new Campaign prior to the cut-over, I was promised a 20 dollar savings (recorded on the phone, and an email). I called to complain, got a bunch of excuses, and they offered to credit me next month. I asked about this month (Nov), and they said "sorry we can't go back and correct our mistake".

I much as a I hate Frontier, I may have to consider trying to competition. It can't be worse, and I might save some money. I wish Verizon still ran Fios.

For the second time this year the Spectrum app has mysteriously quit working before the start of The Walking Dead. The season opener and mid-season finale were plagued with f%@kery before they even began. These two failures were the most memorable of the year among many, many others mainly with error codes M125, and M126. Many nights I went to sleep angry after this crap app let me down. I'd get the big stupid cable box but I don't want to look at it. Their customer service people seem very polite and competent. The app is so f%@king irritating. Please fix it!

It is now 3 am. I'm the only one awake in my house, and the internet is still horrendous to the point where I can't play anything multiplayer unless I enjoy getting repeatedly slaughtered. Oh also this is a friday night where I thought I was going to be able to have fun and relax but nope. Needless to say I'm VERY UPSET.

Yes Spectrum is the WORST cable company I have EVER used in my life.
--When Bright House was Bright House the customer service was great and had no complaints but since Spectrum took it over the company turned into the worst service I have ever seen.

Below is the list of problems we get every week:

1. LONG waits on hold waiting for help from customer service if you are lucky enough to even get a person to answer.
2. When calling customer service and after hitting all of the selections for help it sounds like some one picked up the line only to have no one there.
3. Outages EVERY week.
4. Errors and downtime at My Services website.
5. Some of My Services tools on their website no longer work like checking you phone log to see who called your number so you can copy and paste to try to block them.
6. No longer able to control the bandwidth to control how much data each email can use to give other more that need it.
7. No way to create any password when creating new sub account emails.

We need another a choice of cable companies to choose from and not have any monopolies on areas so we have more competition to force these companies to do better for their customers and hopefully we can get our new President to STOP these monopolies so us customers can get decent services again.

I am consistently hitting 114mbps downloads using various speed tests and uploads at 5mbps, however latency is terrible compared to Frontier Fios. Latency is anywhere from 15ms -30ms. If you are a gamer and have the option of FIOS, I highly recommend going with FIOS over cable. I have called to reconnect my Frontier service and they are giving me the new customer discount. $64.99 150/150. I was hoping cable would work considering the lower cost and my hate for Frontier customer service, I guess I will deal with the customer service for more consistent internet service (as far as lagging is concerned). For folks that are just streaming, everything seems to work as Spectrum has advertised, but expect throttling...
